In the obstinate and contrary direction

These are the years of the massal selection for the Coste & Fossati® (1979), the Freisa cultivated in Bricco delle Viole (1980), the first Rhine Riesling planted in Piedmont (1985), the counter-current choice of renouncing to the excessive use of French wood to devote themselves to a style of finesse and elegance. Aldo earns the title of "the most modern of the traditionalists and the most traditional of the modernists".

In the meantime Giuseppe (1985), Francesca (1987) and Isidoro (1990) are born.
